We are located in the Community Room inside the Chesterfield Community Fire Station on Braidwood Way,

(just around the back of B&Q).

On site parking is limited but there are plenty of options to park nearby and walk the short distance to church (click here to get further details).

By foot

We are less than a 10minute walk from Chesterfield Town centre and just a short distance from the coach station, Derby Road or Queens Park.

By Bus

The fire station is not on a bus route but should you be using public transport, the nearest bus stop is on Baden Powell Road. The best bus route for a Sunday morning would be:

  • 55 - to Alfreton
  • 39 - to Grangewood Farm

Further details can be found here.

By train

Chesterfield train station is approximately 0.8 miles from Redeemer King - that's a little under 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes in a taxi.

Further details can be found at TrainLine.

When You Arrive

When you arrive you'll be met by one of our welcome team who can show you around and where to get a tea/coffee etc. They will be able to answer any questions you may have, or be able to introduce you to someone who can help.

IF you happen to arrive after the main service is underway and don't find anyone at the door - no problem!. The sliding doors will not open automatically so you will need to use the intercom. Just buzz the 'Community room' button (or come and wave at the window!) and someone will come to let you in.
