uncommon wisdom . intelligent kindness

What does it take to live life well as a Christian? How can you live your faith meaningfully in daily life? Well, the practical-minded James explains it this way…

“If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honourable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom … the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favouritism and is always sincere.” (James 3 – NLT)

James paints a picture of real-world wisdom that offers the conditions for a Christian life well lived. These are qualities of intelligent kindness, at the heart of a wisdom that is uncommon and rare in our world today. It’s a wisdom we, ourselves and each other, our community and society desperately need to experience.

It’s this uncommon wisdom and intelligent kindness that Redeemer King is looking to live out; wherever we are, whoever we’re with and whatever we’re doing.

Funding and Giving

Redeemer King is solely funded by those who attend regularly and see the church as their place of worship and their spiritual family. We don’t take up a formal offering each week, rather we rely on the scriptures being taken to heart.

We keep our internal expenditure as light as possible so that we can maximise money spent on our vision – helping those who are struggling and hurting.

We do have a giving box at the back of the room on a Sunday, or our bank details can be found on the ‘Giving and Gift Aid Form’ below.
