Faith. Hope. Life.

Welcome to Redeemer King. We’re really glad that you have taken the time to visit our website!

Redeemer King is a church of faith, hope, and life in Jesus Christ. Regardless of who you are or where you come from, whether a seasoned Christian or just curious about the Christian faith, come as you are – everyone is welcome here!

You’ll find us a relaxed and informal but bible-focussed bunch who love to worship and have some fun along the way. We try not to take ourselves too seriously, but we are very serious about loving God and loving people.

We’re delighted that you’ve found us and we’d like the opportunity to get to know you, so if you are able to come along,  we’d love to see you at the Parish Centre at 10:30am on a Sunday.

Our Values

Jesus Centred

We put Jesus front and centre and we're all about helping people encounter him.

Word

We absolutely love the bible and seek to faithfully teach it as best we can.

Spirit

We believe in walking and living in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Worship

Our highest calling is to worship God - we love to worship at RK.

Mission

We long for people to encounter Christ and we have a special heart for the most hurting, broken and lost. We tell people about him through our actions and words.

Hope

Our lives are characterised by hope in Christ. Optimism and joy are key values for us.

Generosity

We seek to be a very generous and giving church to all kinds of needs in our town church and across the world.

Life

We believe that Jesus came to give us life in all its fullness!  We try to live that out as a community of believers and in our daily lives.

Our Basis Of Faith

What we believe is in line with the Evangelical Alliance.

Funding

Funding and Spending

Redeemer King, Chesterfield is solely funded by those who attend regularly and see the church as their place of worship and their spiritual family. We don’t take up a formal offering each week, rather we rely on the scriptures being taken to heart.

We keep our internal expenditure as light as possible so that we can maximise money spent on our vision – helping those who are struggling and hurting.
