‘‘I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.‘

Galatians 2:20 (ESV)

I believe this short verse summarises much of what living out a Christian life should look like. Giving up our old ‘ways’ (being crucified with Christ) and to put Him first and live for Jesus (when we accept Christ to live within us) is the beginning of a transformation that only He can bring.
Ironically, with this context, ‘giving something up’ and ‘surrendering’ are acts that will bring the greatest freedom!
