Meet Karen
Hi! I’m Karen Northend and I head up Kids Church at Redeemer King.
It’s really important to us that children have lots of fun, absolutely love what takes place, and above all else – meet with Jesus. Praise and worship, prayer, games and bible teaching are all in the mix.
This page has a series of Frequently Asked Questions about Kids Church – but should you need any further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can email us at .

FAQs
Children between the ages of 0-11 (children at secondary school are encouraged to stay in the main meeting.) Children aged 2 and under must be accompanied in Kids Church by a parent or guardian. Parents can, of course choose to stay in the main meeting with their child if they’d prefer.
Kids Church meets at Outwood Academy Newbold. Upon arrival to Church our connect team will guide you to the right place.
Doors open for registration at 10.15am with Kids Church starting promptly at 10.30am- to coincide with the start of the main meeting.
If you’re a first time visitor, we’ll ask that you fill in a registration form for your child.
At approximately 11am the children will go to their various age appropriate groups.
We operate a secure check-in and pick-up system for your child’s safety and your peace of mind. Parents or guardians must accompany their children into Kids Church to sign them in. Once the adult meeting has finished (around 12 noon) please collect your child from their meeting room. If you are unsure where your child’s room is, a member of the connect team will direct you.
We are an inclusive church, aiming to cater for all individual needs. If your child has additional needs or requires alternative provision, please let us know.
