He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”.

Psalm 46:10

Last Monday (16th), is becoming widely known as ‘Blue Monday’ – the most depressing day of the year. It’s not hard to see why with the dark nights, grey days and cold weather.…not to mention the financial climate.

Life does seem to be a series of trials which can sometimes leave us questioning God’s intention. But James tells us to ‘consider it pure joy’ (James 1:2) when these tough times come – they build our character and teach us perseverance, which can at times, be rather hard to grasp.

Whether you are in a season of battling or blessing (or perhaps a blend of both), whether you feel like you are sinking or swimming, keep trusting in Him and remember what He sacrificed for YOU because He loves YOU.

Let Psalm 46:10 be your ‘control+alt+delete’ to reset any negative perspective. His plan is always good.
