I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
When we find ourselves in the valley, whether that’s financial difficulty, despair, depression, a tricky situation, family strife, sometimes we need a reminder to lift our eyes to see the one who carries us through. The God of the mountain is still the God of the valley.
